Carry on Carnival Capers

The Carnival committee has decided to ‘carry on’ with the Carnival but to alter it where necessary. It is hoped that these changes will encompass village support, as the feeling of the committee is that Bradworthy, needs a ‘bit of light relief’ in view of recent events. So prepare for fun and a carnival like never before… There will be no floats this year. Families, individuals and local groups will be more than welcome to take part in the Fancy Dress Parade. It is common knowledge that Richard makes a very good flowerpot man and that Reverend Dorrington has been put forward for anchorman in the Church Tug of War team. Think what you can do? The events for July will be as follows:

Friday 13th - Junior Disco in Memorial Hall

Saturday 14th - Wine and Wisdom in Memorial Hall

Sunday 15th - Fun Run and Bike ride with bar b Q
(Subject to D notices lifting)

Wednesday 18th - Skittles Tournament

Friday 20th - Tug of War on the Playing field

Saturday 21st - (To be Finalised)
Judging of the Fancy Dress - Holsworthy Town Band
Morris Men - Majorette Display - Disco in evening
