We would like to thank all our friends in Bradworthy for their support, kindness and offers of help during our enforced imprisonment at East Greadon following the outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease here on 12/4/01.
We would particularly like to thank Robert Dennis for his support during the actual event, and Alan Pomeroy, who behaved with remarkable fortitude during the whole ghastly business.
Our sympathies go to our neighbours, and other members of Alan’s staff, who have had stock culled due to this outbreak. We know what you have been through! I do hope no one else in Bradworthy has to go through this.
