On the last day of March we went back on to 2 times a day milking and its great fun it is but the milk is going up now but we still got foot and mouth. Samantha is feeding the calves down the bottom here .Dad does the morning milking and most of the night milkings. Oliver helps my dad and he does most of the morning scraping up before breakfast and he likes doing the saw dusting and he watches or helps dad with the slurry tanking. Mum does all of the scraping up and I help my mum with the scraping up and help feeding the calves and the young stock. I hope the foot and mouth will stop, but if Maff doesn’t get his arse in gear the foot and mouth will go on for ever. Last week we let the cows out in the field, this week we put the young stock in Easter field, we only got one dry cow left so we put her in with the Milkers. Our farm is going on well now it is great fun some farmers like doing the farm work in this part of the country some farmers give some silage to eat. My sister Samantha also does the milk recording. This farming matters is going to be for this month and we done a lot of work what we are doing last week and this week and we will be doing a lot of work next week. On Saturday 5th May is George’s day off. My dads cows are doing really well and even my calves are doing really well because my big sister Samantha looks after these calves down the bottom here. If the foot and mouth stops all of the farmers are aloud to take the cows along the road.
