Holsworthy family workshop resource centre, by M. Halway

Do you and your children like to get stuck in to creative play?
Does your group or organization put on Art and Craft activities?
Do you need costumes, props, decorations or displays?

Your local Scrapstore at Holsworthy Resource Centre can help.

There's an Aladdin's cove of waste materials from factories, which provide a really low cost resource for many wonderful projects.

As well as this, we have a shop, where at a little over cost price, you can buy paints, brushes, glue and scissors, beads, feathers, sequins, felt and much more.

All you need to take advantage of our service is to become a member, for a reasonable £7.50 per individual/family or £15.00 per group per year.

As a bonus you are also entitled to use the well-stocked Toy library at no extra cost. We have large equipment, such as slides and aqua-play, as well as loads of puzzles, games, construction kits, musical instruments and dressing-up clothes.

We are a non-profit making organisation, supported by grants and fund-raising. We currently run with the help of a National Lottery grant. Playgroups, Schools, Youth groups, already well-use us and we have a growing number of adult craft groups. Many families do belong but we feel that there are others who do not realise what a unique project is available to them. We would love you to come and look around and see what you are missing.

To help reach a larger number of you, we are increasing our opening times. We are open every Wednesday in school holidays and every Saturday morning (9.30 - 12.30).
