Torridge District Council has produced a Revised Torridge District local Plan. The revised plan incorporates changes made following the first deposit of the plan. From 12th 2001 these changes are subject to a period of formal consultation. The consultation period within which comment is invited is limited to 6 weeks.
The local plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the revised plan are available for sale (priced at £25 inc. p&p) and inspection at Riverbank House, Bideford and inspection at the District Council Area Offices and all local libraries. Copies of the plan have also been made available to town and parish councils.
Representations may be made only in respect of those parts of the Plan which have been revised between the deposit and revised deposit stages. Representations should be sent in writing to the address below, to arrive before 12 noon on 23rd February.
