I am sure that most people know that Jane has decided to stand down as the main co-ordinator for the Fair and as Pat Regardsoe is now knitting woolly jumpers in pastures new, here I must say a big Thankyou to both Pat and Dave, I am sure that a lot of people do not realise what a key figure Pat was in helping to revive the Fair. With that in mind it was decided that a new Committee needed to be formed.
So on a chilly Thursday evening we met, all 13 of us to get things motivated for the 2001 Fair. Sarah Harper very kindly agreed to be secretary and Tony Brewington chaired the meeting. Ideas flowed and the room buzzed. We still have loads to do and new ideas to set in motion and we are all hoping that this 'first meet enthusiasm 'will continue. As usual we need animals for showing and are very open to all new ideas and suggestions. So if you have any the next meeting is on Thursday February 8th at 7.30pm in the Methodist Vestry.
