May I speak on behalf of the Mother? I feel I must try, even if all I succeed in doing is speaking from the heart.
When will we realize that we are missing the point, even now at this crucial time? The point that the purpose of growing organic crops is not for the sole benefit of our children’s children, or our own well-being. It is not just because they taste better as food and are more nutritious. No, brothers and sisters, it is because it is better for the Mother Earth. We must cease this human-centric way of thinking if we are to move to the next stage of development. In order to shift and actualise the change we must stop basing our well-meant acts, such as using biodegradable products, or recycling, on the purely human motivations. There need be no guilt if we contribute to the All with actions born of the right intent.
The Earth is the key issue. Yes, we have a duty to Her to challenge human-based fallacies, like the calling of non-organic crops ‘conventionally produced’ crops. However, to truly change the energies and consciousness of the collective we also need to move on from seeing all our deeds as needing a human reasoning. To be an instrument of change we must look beyond the benefits our actions may bring to future generations of the species which has been solely responsible for the destruction of this sacred place. To make the step forward, we need to really under-stand our inter-connectedness as a part of nature and stop seeing this Earth as a beautiful backdrop for human enjoyment.
