A short article entitled 'Wind farm to follow?' in the North Devon Journal 23rd November reviewed the situation at Stowford Cross.
Torridge District Council officers have apparently recommended that plans for the 40 metre high mast be approved despite objections from people, who like myself, fear the tests indicate plans for a full-scale wind farm. The planning committee will meet on Monday 27th November and Councillors have been urged to assess the plan in front of them and not the speculation.
A Council spokesman is quoted as saying "An approval would in no way commit the Council to any further development".
