Bradworthy News - October 2000

Best Kept Village

Judges summary

There was a small amount of litter on the grass verges and a lot of rubbish in the children's play area within the playing field. There was a broken see-saw which looked very dangerous. In the telephone box there was some litter but negligible. The toilets were well looked after. A most interesting village, with a very inviting village hall in the square. The flower beds are well maintained and attractive. Judging by the notice boards this is an active community with activities for all ages. All the people we met including all shop keepers were very helpful and friendly.
