As I am sure most of you will have noticed, Cecil is no longer keeping the village informed with local news and events via the Holsworthy Post and North Devon Journal.
Now, I am not sure why, I can only think it is because he is such a hard act to follow, but as no-one else has come forward, I have agreed to take on this position and try to fill just a small part of the gap that Cecil has left.
We will see how it goes - it may not suit me and I may not suit it, but in the meantime thanks to Cecil and Paul for everything and in advance of the obvious help and guidance I will need.
Any village news, any person who deserves a mention for deeds done, any event or outing, any results, etc, etc, …please to Sarah Payne, Dowland Farm c/o/Sandra Hayes, 9 St. John's Drive or leave at the Community Stall on Saturday mornings.
