A successful “Wine and Wisdom” evening was held in Bradworthy Memorial Hall on Saturday 15th April organised by the Millennium Garden Committee.
A Special “thank you” to Lesley Lewin (questionairess) and her backstage team, the waiters Alan Balsdon, Paul Jennings and their helpers, the Agenda 21 group for their domestic rôles and the teams who participated, helping us to raise £231-03p profit to forward our project.
There were many draw prizes donated from the community towards our cause.
The winning team were Maureen Balsdon's Six, who received engraved wine glass mementoes stating “Millennium Garden 2000”. A unique antique in 3000? Can anyone provide gardening skills for that year??
