During the month of October, Kath Guard and Ros Down hope to participate in a sponsored trek along 33km of the Inca Trail in Peru. To take part they each need to raise sponsorship of at least £2,250. as part of this effort they've arranged a 4 course Sunday lunch on 9th April, and a party at Sandals nightclub in Bude. Watch out for further fundraising events in the next month or so. |
| The Children's Society works with nearly 40,000 of the country's most vulnerable children and young people and their families, regardless of race, colour and creed. As a Christian Charity, The Children's Society provides concrete things needed: giving runaways a safe refuge from the streets, ensuring children get educated rather than excluded, promoting programmes which provide an alternative to prison custody for young teenagers and working with children to create communities which are safe to live in. |
