A dinner to celebrate was held in Bradworthy on the 21st January. This was attended by Mrs. Ginny Addison?Smith, County Chairman, members and guests from our fellow Atlantic Group W.I's. The evening was a great success with a superb dinner followed by various games and quizzes. All agreed it had been a very special birthday.
At our January meeting the speaker was Roger Andrews, who spoke about his gift of healing which was really interesting and informative and in February we were very pleased to welcome Alan Graham, a local wildlife photographer and film maker. We were enthralled with stories of travels and adventures around the world following endangered species and watched film, shot locally, of hares.
We have been very pleased to have new members this year and anyone interested in joining us or just visiting will be very welcome. We meet the first Wednesday of every month in the Chapel Sunday School room in Bradworthy at 7.30 p.m. A programme for the year is available in the village, any enquires to Maureen in Balsdon's shop or Beryl Lane on 241916.
