The February meeting was presided over by the president, Mrs. M. Lewis. The speaker was Mr. Clatworthy of Holsworthy, who gave a talk on antiques. The competition for "Gingerbread men" was won by Mrs. M. Martin, Mrs. K. Stevens, Mrs. L. Dawe, Mrs. J. Wooldridge. Flower of the month, Mrs. L. Dawe. Teas by Mrs. R. Taylor and Mrs. B. McLaren. Vote of thanks, Mrs. R. Lewis.

Church and Chapel

Millennium afterthought. The Church bells were rung at mid-day followed by a short service in Church and refreshments afterwards.

A combined service with Sutcombe was held in Church. The Archdeacon of Totnes took the service as the Rector was away on a course. Mr. G. Martin read the lesson and the organist was Mrs. J. Mitford. Refreshments in Church followed to help the Archdeacon on his way.
