You may have noticed by now that I tend to read lots of thriller fiction, and this months review is no exception. However, as a New Years Resolution I will read and review other types of books although I can't promise 'Mills and Boon'. (We all have limits!)
Anyway, this months book was very enjoyable, although somewhat far-fetched. It concerns an ex-F.B.I agent who has to retire early from his job as he is in need of a heart transplant. He then discovers that he lives because of a cold blooded murder and he is forced back on the streets to uncover the murder. One feels that this could only happen in America. I really couldn't imagine the N.H.S. allowing an ex-policeman to fiddle on their computers to see heart donor lists. He'd never get passed the receptionist!
However, it has a good plot and cleverly written and according to a bright red sticker on the cover, I am entitled to £150 off a holiday to the U.S.A. because I bought the book. Bargain!
