The stitchers who are doing this work are reporting excellent progress. In order for us to work at home, the canvas was cut into smaller sections. These have now all been joined together, and we are working on covering these joins. We sometimes find small corners or lines that have to be filled in before we make the stitches that will bend the canvas into shape.
So - we have a centre kneeler of just over three feet, and a two long side kneelers of about eight feet each. (Resolution for 2000, gen. up on metric conversions.)
Sadly these kneelers will not be ready for Xmas or the New year - but soon.
