We held our A.G.M. on 3rd November and the following oflicers were appointed for the next year. Rhoda Jennings will be our President, Vice President - Maureen Balsdon, Secretary - Beryl Lane, Treasurer, Eve Wonnacott, other members of the committee are Lesley Lewin, Shirlyann Cobb, Ruth Wade, Doris Harris and Eileen Lynch.
We are now planning our programme of meetings, speakers, events and visits for the year 2000 and any new members will be made very welcome. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month in the Sunday School room at 7.30 p.m. A programme for the year will be available in the village, any enquiries to Maureen in Balsdon's shop or Beryl Lane on 241916.
