A 'ring and ride' service embracing Bradworthy, Sutcombe, and the Putfords has attracted just two passengers in each of its first two weeks. A bit of advertising by the organisers might help!
According to the North Devon Journal the bus picks people up at their door between 10 and 10.30am, arrives in Holsworthy by 11am and allows you 2 hours shopping for just £2 return.
For information on how to book the Journal advises you to ring the Holsworthy Volunteer Bureau on 014090 254484 on Wednesdays between 10.30am and 1pm. I presume that should be 01409 254484.
