The annual meeting was held in the school room. The president, Mrs. M. Lewis, presided. She was re-elected, as was the secretary, Mrs. J. Wooldridge, and treasurer, Mrs. K. Stevens, and the committee.
A competition for a “jug” was won by Mrs. P. Furse and Mrs. K. Stevens. Flower of the month - Mrs. W. Taylor.
The skittle team members were congratulated on winning their section of the County Cup.
Members and friends also went on a shopping trip to Plymouth with Carmels Coaches.
The annual dinner was held at the Royal Hotel, Bideford. The Player of the Year was Steven Taylor. The Catch of the Season was won by David Walter. David Pomeroy also won an award for all his work during the year. A disco followed to conclude the evening.
