Poem for Eric

The wrong fool - sorry fuel (note: Eric filled his truck up with diesel one evening instead of petrol, splutter, splutter. These kindly verses commemorate this event).

Oh a motoring I will go
A motoring I will go
It's really quite super
Now I've got a Trooper
I'm really in the know
I can tell left from right
I can tell black from blue
It's really quite simple
To spot a mole from a pimple
I'm one of the lucky few
There's dinosaurs in the field
There's elephants in the sky
And way over there
Is a petrol station
Oh me! Oh me! Oh my!
Disasters come
And disasters go
I'm normally as quick as a weasel
But I have to admit
I'm now in the shit
I can't tell PETROL
From Diesel.
