This is a very attractive and well maintained active village. The shops and other commercial enterprises were all clean and inviting and it was good to see the small industrial estate which is flourishing.
All the public buildings, including the Church and the Village Hall were very well cared for as were the toilets, and bus shelter.
Private housing, new and old, was almost without exception very well cared for and the new housing areas had done a great job on clearing roadside weeds.
Points which let you down the seat on the Green is badly in need of repair, there were a surprising number of weeds in the school yard among the interesting tubs and the cultivated border, there was litter in the playing field and the children's play area, near Martins warehouse and in the lane leading to the Churchyard from the Putsford road.
Otherwise a village which it is a pleasure to visit.
