The background colour of the Church Alter Rail Kneelers is a rich deep blue. The viper like zigzag pattern at the front will be gold, cream and red, so they will splendidly match the new red carpet.
The good news is that many have finished stage one, and the work of damping and stretching has begun. Next the small canvases have to be joined, then an inch either side has to be worked through double canvas. When this is completed, the stitches to bend the canvas will finish our work. Off to the upholsterer then, for the kneelers to be made up.
