Community sustainability guide

What do farmers' markets, community composting and credit unions have in common? They're all in this new guide to creating a sustainable place where you live

"Your place... then the planet", produced by CRISP (Community Regeneration in the South West Partnership) with the Community Council of Devon. The eight page booklet is packed full of practical ideas and information that can help people come up with answers to local issues, that start at home and will last in the long term. There are local and national examples with lots of contacts.

The guide was created as part of a regional programme to support community enterprise and regeneration in the South West. It's designed to be used by individuals and groups who want ideas that work and to know who can help. We've done an initial print of 1,000 copies which we are sending to people who we think would use it, to community organisations and libraries across Devon.

Please contact me for more copies or information. Jenny Archard, community enterprise worker, Community Council of Devon, County Hall, Exeter EX2 4QB
