 Church RestorationA quiz in aid of the Church Restoration Fund was held on 19 May at the Bradworthy Inn. The usual high quality questions were posed by Quiz Master,Bob Hudson.The eventual winners, after an exiting contest between nine teams, were the team of Sue and Eric Lander and Ant and Vicky Gifford. Their prize of a meal for 4 was kindly donated by Alan and Lesley of the Bradworthy Inn. Thanks go to Eric Mitchell for the sound system, Jenny Hudson for researching the questions, Bob Hudson for asking them and Alan and Lesley for hosting the event. There were a large number of raffle prizes. Thank you to all who donated these. A total of £86.50 was raised for the fund. |
