Carnival - Saturday 17th July

Around The World In 20 Days Rumour has it that Charlie Nicholls is at it again, every year he say it is the last one. He’s fed up, it’s not going right, he’s going to scrap it. He’s going to sit back with his feet up and forget all about CARNIVALS.

We hope that won’t happen for a few years yet with the success of the 1998 tableaux The Sky’s The Limit finishing the rounds with 8 first prizes and 2 seconds. Congratulations Charlie, we wish you success for 1999. Following in his father’s footsteps John Nicholls also got into the 1998 Carnival spirit with The Gnome Reserve. He had 2 first prizes and 2 seconds.

We look forward to seeing you both on Saturday 17th July with many other local tableaux. Let’s make this a bumper year to take us into the next century.
