On Wednesday, 5th May the Bradworthy Guides set of on their annual litter pick in conjunction with the National Spring clean week and with the encouragement of he Torridge District Council and were joined by the Brownies around the village. Nine bags of rubbish were collected in the three hours equalling last year's number.
Although there was one particular black spot where empty crisp packets had been fed through a wire mesh fence and were inaccessible for the Guides, they reported that even though their numbers were greater, they had to look harder this year to fill the same number of bags.
