The speaker at the April Meeting was Mrs. Mandy Brown of Holsworthy. She spoke on her holiday in Australia and also showed slides. The competition for a holiday photo was won by Mrs. M. Martin, Second Mrs. W. Taylor, third Mrs. A. Poole. Teas were by Mrs. L. Dawe. Vote of thanks Mrs. K. Stevens.
In the Bideford and District Men’s Skittle League Roy’s Boys finished runners up in division 4. One of the team, Trevor Dawe, was the individual champion of the league.
