Our year has got off to a very good start with two excellent speakers for the January and February meetings.
We have about 20 members and meet on the first Wednesday of every month in the Sunday School Room in Bradworthy.
In January our talk was entitled Tales of a Thatcher by James Marshall who lives in the village. February’s was Hats and Wigs, an hilarious hour’s entertainment, by Mrs. R. Wedlake.
Our President this year is Miss S. Cobb, the Vice President is Mrs. M. Balsdon, Secretary Mrs. B. Lane and Treasurer Mrs. E. Wonnacott.
We have a varied and interesting programme arranged for 1999. Visitors and new members will be very welcome.
