Christmas seems long past, so before the bulbs shoot through any further, I want to offer my personal thanks to all those who helped in so many ways throughout the Christmas period. Thanks then to all who spent many hours preparing for the services, participating in the services and to those who provided refreshments afterwards. All seemed to go well and it was good to welcome so many people at the church.

For some time now parishioners have been beavering away raising funds for the restoration. Well done! The total cost is going to be in the region of £100,000, although, thankfully, grant aid will provide a significant proportion. Work should begin in a few months time and we can look forward to the roof and tower being waterproof and windproof.
The Bishop of Plymouth is visiting Holsworthy on April 28th for a confirmation service. If anyone is considering confirmation, please contact me at the Vicarage on 241411 or see me after any morning service.
