As a parish paths co-ordinator, I am aware that many of you are interested in taking an active part in their care and maintenance, and ultimately their accessibility for all of us.
The bridleway is in the course of being repaired and brought back into use for walkers and horse riders. Bear with us - the weather has been atrocious for the contractor to get this work completed.
The Parish Paths Partnership, in conjunction with your Parish Council, has obtained funding for this project. More will be available to upgrade other footpaths on the definitive map.
How can you help? February is the time for the annual surveying of our footpaths. A walk on the wild side can only be attempted with wellies at present, but imagine the prospect on a glorious summer day... Walkers are urgently needed, this is how you can help.
I can supply forms and information on how to complete them. If you are interested, please let me know - Angela Yeo, "Seraphis", North Road (tel 241721) - so that we may meet and complete!
