As the Millennium Dome struggles towards completion, the Bradworthy Dome will be completed on schedule with an official opening probably some time in April.
The magnificent new archive and exhibition centre will provide an opportunity for the village to present its history alongside the present.
On the one hand the committee are appealing for artefacts, old postcards, posters, maps, newspapers, cuttings, etc., any items relevant to the Bradworthy area. We shall also be looking for volunteers to help collate and display information.
On the exhibition side we are hoping to display local paintings, photographs, tapestries and crafts of any description. It will be an opportunity to present a shop window of local skills and craftsmanship to Bradworthy's many visitors.
Anyone who feels they can help to contribute in any way willbe much appreciated.
Please contact Alan Cann (241234), John Cann (241226), or Jayne Addy (241828) for further information.
